Mother Hubbard's Cupboard increases access to healthy food for all people in need, in ways that cultivate dignity, self-sufficiency and community.

We envision a community where everyone has equal access to nutritious food, waste is minimized, and all members are healthy, self-sufficient, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard (affectionately referred to as The Hub) started in 1998 as a food pantry, and has grown into a community food resource center. Beyond offering emergency food assistance, we provide resources to support home cooking and gardening. We host community gardens where folks are invited to learn and share skills about growing food.

The Hub Tool Share program makes home gardening and cooking from scratch accessible, by sharing tools and equipment.
